Crafters, Fibre shops, designers and yarnies, please join our Ravelry forum to share your online shop updates, promotions and virtual social offerings. I'll do my best to share what you are all offering and organize virtual events on our calendar as well. Stay home and stay well.
Much love, Janna
A warm hello from the beautiful Sunshine Coast,
As we all attempt to keep everyone around us safe many things are closing down and being postponed, including fibre festivals. Fibres West was scheduled to occur this past weekend but during set up vendors heard about the government mandated closure of events larger than 250 people.
I took the ferry into Vancouver on Thursday morning, dropped my son off at his grandma's and headed to Langley and set up my booth. When I got news of the closure I'm not embarrassed to admit that I headed to my van, after having spent many hours muscling my booth together, to eat multiple chocolate bars which I had purchased earlier thinking they'd last me the month. As I was munching away on my second bar, an Eatmore, the Vegan Yarn team pulled up into the parking spot beside me; Heidi, Jeremy and Mr.H, and offered to help me pack up my booth. What a godsend, not to mention the dark lager they treated me to afterwards.
So, after a few days of resting up I'm happy to announce that our shop update, featuring all the yarn that didn't get to perform at Fibres West is live online! Plus, all our yarn is 10% off, and you can use the code CANADA at checkout for free shipping within Canada on yarn purchases over $120, or EVERWORLD for a $20 discount for world-wide destinations on yarn purchases over $150.
Also, Sunshine Coasters, this month use the code EVERSHIP for free delivery on any online order. Deliveries will be made on Saturdays.
Thank you so much for the support!
