Learn the process of felting with Eszter! She will teach you how to process ( wash and card ) raw Icelandic fiber and where to source it from locally. Learn about the history of felting practices from Mongolia to industrial felting, and complete and take home two samples of a wet felted textile and a sculptural textile object. You will be supplied with felting needles, wool, felting pad, bubble wrap, and a dowel with two ties. We will be using local Icelandic fleece from Tideview Farm. You get to keep and take home all the ingredients above!
