It’s here! The #knitcity2019 Workshop and Event Calendar is live and ready for your perusal. We are super stoked about this year’s line up and are even more thrilled to share with you a few new things for KC19! (swipe to see) □The Featured Maker Initiative is something we are very proud to announce. Knit City Vancouver takes place on the traditional un-ceded land of the Coast Salish people, and we recognize the distinct and unique place Coast Salish artistic traditions have in Canada. The Featured Maker application is open to all Coast Salish makers 18 years and older. The applications will be reviewed by a panel including indigenous individuals before being entered into a lottery. (Very Important Crafter) who deserves a little recognition? Someone who otherwise might not be able to participate in Knit City workshops or events? Knit City 2019 workshops were announced today along with two new AWESOME initiatives:

The Featured Maker initiative // Knit City is giving away a free booth at the Knit City marketplace to a Coast Salish maker. Learn more about it HERE.

Knit City Very Important Crafter // Knit City is giving away a Knit City prize pack including a workshop and evening event tickets to someone who would otherwise not be able to afford to take part. Nominate your friend HERE
