image from www.maiwa.com Have any of you been going to workshops or lectures at the Maiwa Symposium this year? If so, I'd love to hear about them. Please feel free to write in the comments and share! When I was still in Vancouver I LOVED going to the lectures. I would go to as many as I could afford. As a forever student I've never been able to afford the workshops, but one day I will be able to indulge. I've always wanted to do an organic natural indigo vat. That workshop would have my first choice this year. Things are good here in Montreal. But, it continues to feel more strange blogging here on VY as Montreal feels more and more like home. I love staying in touch with what's going on in Van in this way, but I'm not sure how to make it better for you readers. So, if any of you Vancouver crafters/artists/bloggers out there want to highjack this blog every once and awhile, feel free to email me at [email protected] with your ideas. It would be a great place for fibre entrepreneurs to promote themselves while dishing out on the local fibre scene. Some hints at what posts are coming up... Did you know there is a new yarn shop in town? My visit to WINE. A tour of The Window Community Art Shop also.... Knit City is only two weeks away!
