Remember a few posts ago when Kim Fenton announced that she retired the Unwind shop in Gibsons? She also let us in on something fun she had recently done but which wasn't online yet. She taught Grant Hardy of AMI-TV, who is visually impaired, how to knit, felt and ply yarn. It's on Youtube now and it's totally impressive. He did an awesome job and Kim was amazing at explaining how each technique is executed.
Hi, I'm Janna. I'm the owner and natural dyer at Everlea Yarn. I am also a tapestry weaver, longtime knitter and 2013 graduate of Concordia University's Fibres and Material Practices program.
I founded Vancouver Yarn in 2008 as a single space to hold all the textile awesomeness Vancouver (and beyond) offers. In 2010 I moved away from BC and was (a bit) absent here until I returned in 2016. Here on the VY blog I mostly share about local events and other local artists and crafters.
