Come meet and mingle with other knitting enthusiasts during a series of workshops led by local and visiting instructors. Nestled in a cozy, ocean-side resort on the beautiful west coast, you will have the chance to try new stitch and grafting techniques, strengthen your needle felting skills, explore the creation process of spun yarn, and try your hand at weaving using locally-sourced cedar. Stretch your  your legs and learn about coastal rainforests while taking in spectacular views from the Wild Pacific Trail, enjoy a west coast feast at Heartwood Kitchen, and explore products from local vendors. ​

You're invited to join me online for Tiny Tapestries - an intimate live workshop which introduces new weavers to the fundamentals of small-scale tapestry in a rigorous 2-hour workshop. We cover the elements of design to consider for small-scale tapestry using paper collage and then dive into the basics of tapestry weaving, including 'magic' techniques.

Tiny Tapestries is on Sunday Sept 26th 1pm-3pm pacific.

This workshop takes place via Zoom - you will get your Zoom link and password the day before the workshop. The recorded workshop will be available to watch for six months after the workshop takes place. If you are unable to attend the workshop you will have access to the playback.
