Got Craft? is next weekend and you can to find goodies from local authors/designers/sisters Pip'n'Pin (AKA Megan and Katie) there! Both of their new books, Strand and This Must be the Place will be there as well as knitting needles and notions.
I have Strand and love it for its beautiful projects, clear illustrations and stunning photography. A knitting book for all levels of knitting, it has beginner knitting illustrations for those of you who are a complete novice, and features patterns and ideas about how to combine different yarns, knitting them together in a joined strand, to create bulkier and more dynamic yarns.
