1/1/2016 0 Comments Happy New Year!Happy New Year! I wish you and yours a joyful and inspiring new year! This year my resolution is to spend less time on the web and more time reading and making. Here are some things people in Van are doing that is inspiring to me.
This week American Tapestry Alliance's Tapestry Unlimited Blog Tour that started on VY's blog last week continues with Rebecca Mezoff showing us how to blend colour using hatching. It's a super informative tutorial with two excellent videos. This tour is really giving you some solid tapestry weaving skills. Check it out and don't forget to enter to win some awesome prizes from American Tapestry Alliance. Above are Sammy and I outside Grand Central Station in NYC last week. We love it here but can't wait to come home to BC in the summer of 2016 after being away for six years! Happy making! xo Janna Maria Vallee

Vancouver Yarn is a free resource which links you to local DIY textile shops and designers as well as artists and makers which are local to greater Vancouver BC, unceded Coast Salish territory, and throughout so-called British Columbia. I also list online shops and designers from around the country.
Many of my links come from your submissions - Thank you! If you tell me about a dyer, designer, shop etc I will add it.
