8/8/2009 0 Comments Pic-knitI just got home from a lovely day a the Surrey textiles museum pic-knit. I brought a big bag of my hand-dyed Colossal Cozy yarn, some cowl patterns and knitting knits as well as a few shrugs to sell. When I attend events like this I always walk away feeling so thankful for the textiles community that we have here in the lower mainland. I often get to meet people that I've only cyber-chatted with and today I was finally able to meet Leanne Prain and Mandy Moore, co-authors of Yarn Bombing. Later in the afternoon I excitedly abandoned my table to attend their presentation which gave us an closer, more intimate look at the newly released book.
