8/22/2021 0 Comments Free 45" Mira Leclerc Loom (SOLD)UPDATE: SOLD
My Leclerc MIRA (45" Weaving Width) is available for free to anyone who can pick it up on the Sunshine Coast. The Leclerc Mira loom is a popular choice for production weavers, rug weavers and teaching studios. It gives a nice large, clean shed even under tight tension. A counter-balanced 4 shaft loom, with a sturdy, rigid frame, that makes it especially useful for teaching, commercial production studio as well as rug and tapestry weaving. You can speed-up the production by adding the flying shuttle beater. Solidly constructed out of maple, this loom has a friction brake, and easily removeable cloth and breast beams. All metal parts are plated and the top rollers are adjustable in height. A sectional warp beam can be installed at any time. The above images of from my online tapestry weaving workshop with the School of SweetGeorgia and show me in my studio with the exact loom I am giving away. The image below is from the internet and is the same kind of loom but my loom apron is green, not white. My reason for giving away is simply that I do not use it anymore. Contact me at janna(at)everleayarn.ca to inquire.
